Elon Musk Hires 14-Year-Old Software Engineer for SpaceX Starlink

Elon Musk has hired a 14-year-old software engineer named K
airan Quazi for SpaceX's Starlink engineering team. Quazi is a self-taught programmer who has developed several software applications, including a real-time flight simulator and a game engine. He is also the founder of a software development company called Quasar Technologies.



Musk tweeted about Quazi's hiring on Saturday, saying that he was "very impressed" with the teenager's skills."Kairan is a brilliant young engineer with a bright future ahead of him," Musk said. "I'm excited to have him on the Starlink team."

Quazi is the latest in a long line of young people who have been hired by Musk's companies. In 2016, Musk hired a 12-year-old boy named Jack Sweeney to develop a bot that tracked his private jet. In 2020, Musk hired a 16-year-old girl named Alexa Clay to work on his Neuralink brain-computer interface project.



Musk's willingness to hire young people has been praised by some and criticized by others. Some people believe that Musk is simply taking advantage of young people's labor, while others believe that he is giving them an opportunity to learn and grow.

Regardless of the reasons for Musk's hiring practices, there is no doubt that Quazi is a talented young engineer. His work on the Starlink engineering team could help to make the world's first global satellite internet constellation a reality.
